About Ask KEN

Thinking about introducing a new enterprise or entrepreneurship education initiative within your organisation? Would it be useful to ask someone else how they have done something similar?

Ask KEN – the enterprise Knowledge Exchange Network is a new pilot programme to part fund travel and accommodation expenses to enable you to visit and exchange knowledge with another organisation.

Aims

Ask KEN supports EEUK member organisations to introduce new enterprise and entrepreneurship education initiatives. These could be curricular, co-curricular or extra-curricular initiatives.

Who can apply?

You must be employed by an EEUK member organisation Directors of EEUK are not eligible to apply. Full terms and conditions are available when you go to the application form.

How could the award be used?

The purpose is to part fund travel and accommodation expenses to enable you to visit an organisation that has introduced a similar initiative to the one that you are considering introducing.

Who might the host organisation be?

It could be another EEUK member but it doesn’t have to be. If you don’t already have an organisation in mind we suggest that you use the EEUK Linked In Group to find a suitable organisation.

How much can be applied for?

We will fund 50% of expenses up to a maximum of £150 per application.

When is the deadline?

The fund is currently closed for applications.

How do I apply?

When the fund re-opens you will be able to apply by clicking the button below to take you to the application form and terms and conditions. A panel of EEUK directors will assess all applications.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Applicants must be employed by organisations that are fully paid-up members of Enterprise Educators UK.
  2. The host organisation need not be a member of Enterprise Educators UK.
  3. Costs associated with attending events or conferences organised by EEUK are not eligible for funding.
  4. Board members of Enterprise Educators UK are not eligible to apply.
  5. The award will be paid to the applicant’s employer after the expenses have been incurred and on receipt of an invoice and claim form signed by the applicant AND host.
  6. The maximum that can be applied for in any one 12 month period is £150.
  7. The number of awards made is at the discretion of Enterprise Educators UK.
