Assessment of Student Learning for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Modules and Courses
Creating Social Enterprises
This guide is aimed at anyone who works in a university that is involved with developing new spin-out businesses or interested in social enterprise and the benefits it could bring to the university and wider community. It aims to help people in creating student start-up companies as well as more formal university spin-outs based on intellectually property.
The guide assumes no prior knowledge of social enterprise and looks at some of the key questions such as ‘what is social enterprise?’, ‘why is social enterprise important?’, ‘what are the benefits for my university?’ and ‘how do I set one up?’
