Enactus University Advisers recognised

Enterprise Educators UK was delighted to sponsor the Enactus UK University Adviser awards and host ‘afternoon tea’ at this year’s Enactus UK Nationals in London.

Enactus teams submitted a fabulous set of video nominations that highlighted the essential role that University Advisers play in supporting teams to deliver impact. The judges’ decision was a tough one but the result was that Modasur Rasul from Aston University and Dickon Copsey and Marion Anderson from the University of Glasgow were presented with their awards by EEUK Director, Philip Clegg.

Enactus Aston told the judges how Mo Rasul (pictured left with Phil Clegg) had gone above and beyond in his support for the team throughout the year, endlessly supporting them to overcome obstacles. They particularly highlighted how he had supported team members as future leaders by arranging a transformational leadership course for them at Aston Business School. This will have a lasting impact as they are already stronger leaders and they have also been enabled to spot future leaders and to support them to develop.

Enactus Glasgow commended Dickon Copsey and Marion Anderson (pictured above) for their tremendous support, without which the team would not have achieved the same results. They attended every single business adviser meeting, helped with a range of workshops and provided intensive support and advice as the team prepared for regional and national competitions, ensuring that their projects always met the Enactus criteria.

On day two of the competition, EEUK Chair, Jon Powell was a final round judge, seeing Enactus Nottingham lift the trophy and become Enactus UK 2019 National Champion team.
