Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship, Stockholm

GCEC is a global conference gathering the world’s leading minds in entrepreneurship.

As premier organisation addressing emerging topics in entrepreneurship, the Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers (GCEC) has become the vehicle by which the global entrepreneurship ecosystem can work together to share best practices, develop programs and initiatives, and collaborate and assist each other in advancing, strengthening, and celebrating the role of universities in educating the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.

The 2019 GCEC Conference will be hosted by Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship on September 26 – 28, 2019

SSES is a global platform for interdisciplinarity. Throughout our twenty-year history we have been elevating minds, generating ventures, forging connections and inspiring new ways of thinking. Today, we are a global network of silo-busters, system-thinkers and changemakers that work to question the taken for granted and strive towards a better future.

From the cutting-edge of higher education, we provide courses, experiences and incubation for students and alumni of Stockholm’s top five universities: Karolinska Institutet (KI), the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design (Konstfack), the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE), and Stockholm University (SU). At heart, SSES is designed to offer students and researchers a sandbox to explore and realize their imagination with people from diverse disciplines, backgrounds and industries. Thanks to its impact on individuals and the economy, several countries and universities have emulated the SSES model to replicate what the Erling Persson Family Foundation has made possible in Stockholm over the past two decades. Today, SSES is internationally renowned for its practice-based entrepreneurship focus, and its global network of researchers and entrepreneurs.
