Summary
Teesside University has an exemplary record of supporting graduate start-up businesses. In particular its Digital Fellowship scheme has supported the successful launch of over 200 new graduate businesses in the last three years.
This has been part of the University's wider involvement in the regional 'Digital City' economic regeneration project. The 'Fellowship' scheme has developed into a carefully constructed process of creative support, business mentoring and skills development that has underpinned its undoubted success.
The University has ambitious goals for its business engagement activities and sees student and graduate entrepreneurship at the heart of this.
This one day event included 3 interactive workshops which encouraged the sharing of practical knowledge and techniques.
