Entrepreneurialism is core to our business at the University of Gloucestershire. We help our students to develop their talents and capabilities so that they have the knowledge, insight and confidence to succeed in a modern, high-skill economy.
Our annual Business Planning at the University of Gloucestershire (BUG) programme is just one example of how we support our students and graduates to develop entrepreneurial thinking and create new business ventures.
Hosting annual Enterprise Awards and awards for the Creative Industries is another way that we celebrate the success of our students, graduates and business partners. As a Skillset Media Academy, we are a regional centre of excellence, developing vital training for our students and harnessing creativity and enthusiasm to develop creative products and solutions.
We contribute to the development of entrepreneurial activity in other ways. Our NEXUS team develops innovative, bespoke higher-education level training programmes for employees delivered in the workplace. Consultancy and research is on offer from academics in a wide range of disciplines, to help develop innovative ideas for growing business, as is a range of professional qualifications and short courses.
