We provide a supportive network of expertise across our schools and faculties with the primary purpose of nurturing a culture of enterprise. Since 2002 through start-up schemes delivered by the Business School we have helped to create over 200 new businesses collectively employing over 340 people and through our planned growth over the next 4 years we are committed to doubling this number.
We have an impressive portfolio of spin-out companies, enabling us to bring to life ideas born within the University. These companies are already making an impact on a global scale within the areas of health and medical care, manufacturing, ceramics and digital media.
Our bespoke training and consultancy solutions assist businesses to remain competitive through access to the latest knowledge, ideas and technologies within our applied research centres.
