Nottingham Trent University has a long standing reputation for supporting student and graduate enterprise and entrepreneurship. Our aim is to provide, through both in-curricula courses and modules and extra-curricular activities, such as SIFE and the Student Entrepreneurs Club, undergraduates and post-graduates, staff and others, access to high quality teaching, research and business support and resources across most business sectors including such as the creative industries, rural enterprise, computing and gaming, retail and international business.
Further, The Hive, Nottingham Trent University's purpose-built Centre for Entrepreneurship and Enterprise has, for more than 10 years, supported students and graduates in the creation of new businesses as well as fostering the delivery of entrepreneurship education into the curriculum across the University. Although primarily for students and graduates of NTU, we offer help to anyone with a viable business idea, as well as to staff who need help embedding enterprise into their curriculum.
"Now we've been running for two years, we take things in our stride more but The Hive's help was critical in giving us that initial understanding about how to create a profitable venture." Grant Baker, Sonodesign
