Newcastle University's business start-up hub is a multi-award winning service championing and developing the enterprising skills, ambitions and successes of its students and graduates, throughout the University.
Encouraging innovation with a focused approach has enabled a considerable number of start-ups to thrive and flourish, aided and guided by a proactive team devised of regional experts, advisers and entrepreneurs-in-residence.
Rise Up have a proven track record in creating new ways of ensuring enterprising behaviours and entrepreneurial activities are accessible and relevant to all who wish to develop them, regardless of skill, experience or stage in the process. The launch of a ground breaking enterprise module in 2012 saw Newcastle students engaging in new ways of delivering and evaluating enterprise education alongside cutting edge support programmes and networks, such as the Rise Up Pitch.
