University of Strathclyde

Strathclyde is a leading technological, international University dedicated to encouraging and supporting innovation and enterprise at all levels.

The University is home to the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship (endowed by Sir Tom Hunter) which aims to:

• Provide excellent teaching that motivates and equips students to engage in entrepreneurial behaviours, and be influential in the development of best practices in entrepreneurship education.

• To produce research of high academic quality that is influential and relevant to policy and practice.

• To engage in useful knowledge exchange whereby best practices can be both shared with and informed by industry partners.

Enterprise is embedded across the university, with notable initiatives including:

• 'Vertically Integrated Project' - students from UG to MBA level work on activities including preparing clients to pitch to S100

Construction of a Technology & Innovation Centre  - developed with industry, the centre will bring together academics and industrialists and will be a tangible sign of the University's enterprising ethos.

Scotland's Global Entrepreneurship Monitor – an annual assessment of national entrepreneurial activity is authored at Strathclyde to inform policy development.
