The University of Lincoln supports enterprise and entrepreneurship through education and learning, start-up support and incubation for new and growing business ventures, knowledge exchange, research and commercial development.

Lincoln Business School provides the focus for enterprise education and learning across the University through entrepreneurship programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate students, with a growing involvement in social enterprise.

Enterprise@Lincoln, the University of Lincoln's incubation centre supports enterprise and entrepreneurship throughout the university for staff, students, graduates and ambitious individuals.

The centre offers access to support services, knowledge, facilities a range training and development opportunities to help support new businesses grow and develop throughout their early years. It is recognised as a Best Practice Incubator by the East Midlands Development Agency and has also been accredited by UK Business Incubation Inspire monitoring, development and accreditation process.

The Enterprise Building is home to the Idea’s Hub, a hot-desking space for students and graduates to conduct their entrepreneurial activity in a safe and supportive environment. This includes simulation software which enables students to trial run their own businesses. It is now the go to place for enterprise support for both students and graduates. Funding is also available to support graduate start-ups and help to get idea’s off of the ground along with mentoring and support.
