UWE Bristol is an ambitious university. Together, our people are working hard to advance knowledge, inspire people and transform futures. Bristol Business School shortlisted by the Times Higher Education Awards in 2017 for Business School of the Year is proud to be at the forefront of its disciplines. We are based in a brand new, £55m state of the art building with the best facilities in Bristol, where students learn in an impressive, business-focused environment, seamlessly interacting with the local business community.

Established by Sir Rod Aldridge, the founder of the Capita Group, the Aldridge Foundation is a charity working to ensure all young people are equipped for living enterprising futures and creating pathways for aspiring entrepreneurs to succeed. Together the Foundation and Bristol Business School are launching the Aldridge Institute for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship; its aim to be internationally renowned for creating world-class, research-informed practice that influences education policy and enables educators to transform the skills young people develop; ultimately changing their futures and creating a more successful economy.

We are now seeking the inaugural Director of the Aldridge Institute, who will be passionate about its vision, mission and ethos and embody the spirit of the Aldridge Institute in all that they do to create a highly-successful venture.

The successful candidate will:
