We are looking to recruit a Research Associate to join our team of researchers within the Centre for Regional Economic and Enterprise Development (CREED). The appointed person will work with Professor Tim Vorley and Dr Chay Brooks, contributing to ongoing projects on i) entrepreneurial and innovation-led growth in regional economies; ii) the future of innovation and industrial policy; and, iii) new perspectives on productivity. You will be expected to actively engage with existing projects through the preparation of literature reviews, data collection and analysis, drafting briefings and reports as well as contributing to the preparation of funding proposals. In addition, it is anticipated that you will develop and lead on a related area of research within CREED.

You will take a pro-active role in enhancing our reputation for high quality research. You should be capable of delivering first class research that combines theoretical sophistication with practical relevance and impact.

You will hold a PhD in a relevant area (or equivalent qualifications/experience), the ability to produce high quality research publications for appropriate career stage, and experience of working in a multidisciplinary research project team.
