Leeds Beckett University has a long-standing reputation for supporting student and graduate enterprise and entrepreneurship. Current students or recent graduates of Leeds Beckett University, who are interested in starting up in business or being self-employed, can access training and support online as well as face-to-face support and connections to business and academic expertise through The Knowledge Exchange on campus in the Rose Bowl andUniversity Business Centre in the city centre.

Being enterprising is a graduate attribute that is expected to be embedded throughout our University’s curriculum. Defined as “the development of creativity, organisational skills, problem solving, business skills, leadership skills and project management skills”, all our graduates will have been exposed to and practiced enterprise skills – including real-life consultancy projects with businesses.
