Loughborough University

At Loughborough University, we provide students and graduates with valuable opportunities to develop practical skills and entrepreneurial knowledge.

Loughborough Enterprise Network (LEN) supports them at every stage of their journey. Whether they have an inspired idea, already have their own business or simply want to develop new skills, we connect them to a vibrant community of students, graduates and established entrepreneurs to gain ‘real-life’ insight into the world of start-ups and self-employment.

Our Enterprise Hub at Loughborough Students’ Union helps to inspire our students and graduates to get started, while our two on-campus Start-Up Labs provide dedicated physical and head space for new businesses to grow and learn together.

Our dedicated accelerator programme for Graduate Start-Ups (The Studio) offers training and business development on our Science and Enterprise Park (LUSEP) and connects our graduates to even more businesses and like-minded entrepreneurs.

And our students can apply for the opportunity to run their own business and be self-employed for the year as part of our Year in Enterprise Placement too.

Across LEN, we offer tailored programmes that include workshops, online courses, competitions and real funding opportunities and – through our three C’s (Community, Collaboration and Creativity) – we always look forward to supporting our students and graduates at every stage of their entrepreneurial journey.
