Summary of the role

We are looking for two College Coordinator and Student Development Consultants to join Student Employability and Academic Success(SEAS).  The posts are aligned to and located in the College of Social Sciences and International Studies (http://socialsciences.exeter.ac.uk/) and the Business School (http://business-school.exeter.ac.uk/).SEAS is part of theEducation and Student Support Directorate and consists of professional services teams that provide a portfolio of educational activities to assist students with the development of their academic, professional, personal, career and employability attributes throughout their time at University.

College Coordinators are the operational leads that coordinate the college-based activities delivered by SEAS across each of the university’s campuses.   Responsibilities include creating, delivering, and informing the design of interventions and initiatives that support students to acquire the skills and knowledge needed for graduate level employment.  The ability to work effectively in one to one situations as well as with large and small groups is essential.  The post holder will be aligned to a College and will lead on specific projects and service-specific committees relevant to the College.  The role involves a high degree of matrix working and influencing across the College, the academic community, SEAS and other professional services.
