Research & Enterprise Services at Lancaster University receives support from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to deliver a student and graduate enterprise project (U Start) until the end of March 2022.
We are looking for an exceptional individual to join the Enterprise Team to support the successful delivery of this strategically significant project.
You will work as a key member of Lancaster University Enterprise Team, operating under the Work in Progress brand, to deliver core elements of the service and associated activities which enable the attainment of the U Start project targets, including:
- Undertaking needs analysis and action planning for learner customers and other project beneficiaries seeking to develop themselves, their ideas and their businesses.
- Contributing to the team’s development of the programme of activities and service support that meet the aggregated needs of service users and other project beneficiaries.
- Designing and delivering activities and development interventions that meet the specific needs of individuals and groups of service users and other project beneficiaries.
- Contributing to the professional capabilities of the team, its partners and suppliers, through their application of Human Centred Design theory and practice to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the service offer.
You will have high-level expertise in Human Centred Design; personal experience of undertaking entrepreneurial ventures; experience of developing effective learning interventions; excellent team working, organisational, interpersonal and influencing skills.
Familiarity with Enterprise Education within the HE sector, and experience of delivering ERDF or other publicly funded projects, would be a distinct advantage, but appropriate development support will be provided.
This is a full time, fixed term post until March 2022.
