Calling All Academics – We Need Your Thoughts!

9:00 am - 12:00 pm 05/12/2022 - 07/12/2022

Entrepreneurship Education (EE) is moving beyond starting ventures in favour of developing entrepreneurial skills and behaviours. With this comes new uses of activities and terminology, including ‘Entrepreneurial Mindset’ (EM).

Funded by EEUK’s Enterprise Education and Research Project Fund, our project aims to explore how EM is conceptualised by UK educators and how it is operationalised within EE institutions and curricula.

And this is where you come in – we want to hear from you!  Do you use EM in your curriculum? If so, how?  If not, why not?

We will be holding a series of focus groups to explore these and other important questions in order to create a ‘snapshot’ of what’s happening within EE across the UK.

These focus groups will be held in person, but some will have a parallel online session.  The first set of focus groups will take place on:

  • 5th December, 0900-1100 – Northern Ireland, held at Queen’s University Belfast
  • 6th December, 1000-1200 – Scotland, held at Strathclyde University Business School, Glasgow (and online)
  • 7th December 0930-1130 – Midlands & North of England, held at Leeds Trinity University, Leeds

Further focus groups will be held in January for: Southeast England & London; Southwest England & Wales; as well as additional fully online sessions for those unable to attend any in-person sessions.

If you would like to register your place or have any questions for the December or January dates, please email: Sbs-ent-thinking@strath.ac.uk

Our thanks to Queen’s University Belfast, the University of Strathclyde and Leeds Trinity University for hosting us and helping to give a ‘voice’ to entrepreneurship education across the UK.
