9:30 am - 3:00 pm 10/06/2025

In-person registration has now closed for this event.
Examples of embedded enterprise education across a range of academic departments and degree programmes, including creative and STEM, will be shared. In introducing the different approaches, key considerations such as impact measurement, influencing key stakeholders and harnessing existing resource will be discussed. Attendees will explore how different approaches could be applied at their own institution. The event will be beneficial to those established in this area or new/just starting out.
Attendees will be engaged through the following interactive activities which highlight different perspectives and encourage discussion to share practice and evaluate the merits of different approaches:
• Academic and practitioner panel Q&A – Colleagues from across the two HEIs (and potentially elsewhere) who have embedded enterprise into their programmes share their perspectives and advice as part of a panel discussion
• Student voice spotlight – Case studies from current students and alumni highlight what good enterprise education means to them and what engages them in this kind of activity
• Interactive group activities – attendees will work in small groups on a collaborative workshop activity which will consider the pros and cons of each approach, and the suitability based on the context within which they are working. This will support attendees to develop their own plan to adopt the preferred approach for their own context. The group activity will include elements of design thinking, SWOT analysis and opportunity spotting (tools and approaches which attendees apply to their own practice too).
