Background and summary

EEUK Enterprise Exchange events are one day best practice style mini conferences where educators and practitioners come together to share and exchange good practice and expertise related to enterprise and entrepreneurship education.

This event shared good practice in education for Social Enterprise. Leading speakers in the field included: Social Entrepreneurship in the US – Jeffrey Robinson (Rutgers Business School New Jersey); Social Enterprise Successes in London and the southeast, Charles Oham (University of Greenwich); Measuring Social Impact, Philip Clegg (University of Huddersfield); Social Entrepreneurship in a post Brexit world, Jerry Allen (University of Greenwich); Sustainable Development goals for Social Enterprise, Dr Richard Hull (Goldsmiths, University London); Embedding social Enterprise in the curriculum, Hatice Choli (University of Greenwich); Convergence, Local and Social Enterprise, John Kearns (Partas Ireland) and the ‘Students Eats’ NUS project, Catherine McGrath, University of Huddersfield. The day will conclude with a discussion on Supporting Social Enterprise and further opportunities for development.
