“Tech Tools for Entrepreneurs: Equipping Students for the Digital Economy”

This workshop aims to empower enterprise educators with the knowledge and skills to integrate the latest digital tools and technologies into their teaching. By doing so, they can better prepare students to leverage technology effectively in their entrepreneurial journeys, ensuring they stay competitive in the evolving digital economy.
Session Structure:
Opening Session (30 mins): Hosted by Junior Ogunyemi, who will present compelling case studies on how successful startups are leveraging technology to achieve growth and scalability.
Practical Strategies for Educators (1 hour): Led by Lea Henry, focusing on actionable ways to link digital platforms to internal business operations, providing clear methodologies for applying these practices in the classroom.
Hands-on AI Training (1 hour): Conducted by Dean Williams, offering practical activities on using AI for market research, marketing, and customer interaction, allowing participants to gain firsthand experience.
Throughout the workshop, Junior Ogunyemi will facilitate discussions and ensure continuous engagement, addressing questions and maintaining an interactive atmosphere. The total duration is 3 hours, blending informative presentations with practical, participatory elements to enrich the learning experience.
Speakers and Facilitators
Junior Ogunyemi
The inspirational speaker that turns everyday people into entrepreneurs. Junior is a multi-award winning business leader, tech entrepreneur and author of the book How To Be A Student Entrepreneur. Since his university days he has launched a series of successful ventures and is known for creating significant social impact across UK schools. He is currently the enterprise advisor at University of Greenwich supporting the next generation of start up founders.
Lea Rozencwajg Henry
Lea is a multi-award-winning entrepreneur and Enterprise and Events Advisor at the Generator, University of Greenwich. She co-founded CocoRio, a startup that connects families with creative professionals—musicians, dancers, and actors—who work as nannies and mentors to support children’s development. With extensive experience in marketing, enterprise education, event management, and public speaker, Lea specialises in mentoring female founders and student entrepreneurs, empowering them to build their skills and launch successful ventures.
Dean Williams
Dean is a dynamic speaker with a decade of experience as a Business Advisor and A.I. Consultant. He has led companies to remarkable achievements in the market and transformed the lives of many founders.
He currently serves as Enterprise advisor at Goldsmiths University and has pioneered projects empowering women and millennials.
