Inspiring learners | fulfilling potential | achieving excellence
To find, inspire, fuel and spark the next generation entrepreneurs in West Wales.
Coleg Sir Gâr and Coleg Ceredigion have committed to the strategic vision for Youth Entrepreneurship in Wales and are privileged to receive Welsh Government funding. The delivery of our current Youth Entrepreneurship program is in line Welsh Government’s Prosperity for All, Economic Action Plan and commits to promote economic growth and provide jobs for young people in West Wales and beyond. This plan seeks to develop and embed a culture of entrepreneurship in Wales; increase the number of small firms being created in Wales to help build a more enterprising (intrapreneurial) private sector; support alternative forms of enterprise, and enable more young people to gain the skills required to develop Wales’ potential for economic growth.
Our Be ambitious programme provides a clear journey for learners within our institution, which helps to accelerate and drive student entrepreneurship. From day one, it is fundamental to engage with all learners across our seven campuses to raise awareness of Entrepreneurship and Enterprise. Senior leaders in the college support and drive the entrepreneurship agenda at the highest level. Our Strategic development has also enabled us to develop student and staff champions across the campuses to drive cultural change.
