About us

NTU Enterprise is an ambitious, forward-thinking and creative department, championing a culture of community, collaboration and connectivity.  Based in the Dryden Enterprise Centre but working across the city and region, we are striving to support and increase the number of new and growing businesses, drive economic growth, impact for our region and opportunities for our students and graduates.

The department supports clients, including students, graduates and staff of NTU and external enterprise communities and stakeholders.  Working with a wide range of internal and external partners, to inspire and develop enterprising and entrepreneurial skills and behaviour, helping to start-up, grow, scale and innovate business.

About the role 

NTU Enterprise has an exciting new role for an experienced and enthusiastic enterprising individual to join our growing department as an Enterprise Adviser for the Start-Up Community.

This role will be responsible for designing and delivering start-up support programmes across a wide range of sectors and participants, (inc. students, graduates, externals and staff) delivering opportunity and contributing to the uplift in start-up numbers in the region and creating impact for our economy.

We are looking for someone who will strengthen our commitment to inclusivity by actively seeking out connections and building on our existing relationships. This role requires a proactive person with strong project management skills, able to balance multiple programmes across the start-up landscape.

As part of this role, you will have leadership responsibility for the Student Enterprise team, to guide and encourage them in the review and delivery of wide-reaching student enterprise activities including but not limited to, Entrepreneurs Club, Campus Roadshows and Enterprise Competitions.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for spotting and encouraging new ideas, creating opportunities for start-ups to develop their entrepreneurial skills, and being confident in forming and launching their business.
