Anglia Ruskin University, London (ARU London) is an ambitious, teaching-focussed provider of undergraduate and postgraduate education, primarily aimed at a widening participation audience. Based in the heart of London, just a stone-throw from Farringdon Station, ARU London is a multi-building campus hosting over 8,000 students studying subjects related to Business, Hospitality, Healthcare, Law and Finance.
Continued growth in demand for our student-centered courses has led to the opportunity to expand our exceptional delivery team through the addition of lecturers in entrepreneurship and innovation management.
We are looking for lecturers with either healthcare or project management sector experience in addition to deep conceptual knowledge of entrepreneurship and innovation management. The ideal candidate will have a detailed grasp of the contemporary healthcare and/or project management environment, the regulatory framework underpinning entrepreneurship and innovation in these highly regulated sectors. Successful applicants will be employed to lecture on a range of general healthcare and project management modules, including, but not limited to, innovation and entrepreneurship, strategic leadership, and informatics. Our ideal candidates will have a wide suite of subject knowledge, be flexible enough to work on some evenings and Saturdays, in addition to normal Monday to Friday sessions, and above all will be energetic, inspirational, and supportive teachers with a passion for developing our students. All employees will be required to teach face-to-face in one of our two London buildings, and sometimes deliver remote teaching when directed.
If you are enthused with your subject, motivated by helping students develop their professional knowledge and skills, share our belief in the transformational nature of education, and wish to be rewarded for your teaching excellence, then we would like to talk to you about opportunities at ARU London.
You will have a good first degree, and ideally either appropriate postgraduate or professional qualifications in a relevant health or social care discipline. A strong grounding in industry will be an advantage, together with fellowship (or commitment to gain fellowship) of the HEA.
