We have an exciting opportunity within our newly created Centre for Graduate Prospects for a Student Innovation and Knowledge Exchange Officer. The post-holder will support the embedding of employability and enterprise across the University of Sunderland, and the creation of confident and motivated students who develop into professional, adaptable, and engaged graduates with rich and rewarding life and career prospects, by ensuring that:

  • Co-curricular and inclusive approaches to developing innovation skills through challenge-led opportunities linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) and local economic, social, and cultural development priorities are piloted and scaled.
  • Discipline and practice focused student-led knowledge exchange initiatives that utilise diversity are initiated, supported, grown, and evaluated.
  • Creative encounters between staff, students and/or external organisations undertaking projects in need of additional inspiration or alternative solutions and support connections are effectively facilitated.

The successful applicant will have proven knowledge and experience of developing innovation skills and facilitating knowledge exchange as well as demonstrable experience of designing and delivering learning experiences and materials to a high standard and for diverse audiences. You will have a first degree or significant equivalent experience.
