DMU is one of the leading universities in the region for enterprise provision and has supported a number of significant student and graduate businesses.

Pre start business and enterprise support is provided the Enterprise Team, who provide information, support, advice and inspiration to any student or graduate of the university through a variety of workshops, one-to-one support and monthly Pitch2Win competition. The team interacts with over 1000 students a year and currently supports a number of academic programmes.

The university also provides access to office space at the Innovation Centre, which is a vibrant place for new and emerging businesses to set up home. The Innovation Centre offers a supportive and professional environment for businesses to grow, as well as providing a co working space for DMU staff members, students and graduates.
