EEUK Seeks Nominations for New Directors/Trustees
Enterprise Educators UK (EEUK) is inviting nominations for at least two new members to join its Board of Directors (who will become Trustees as the organisation moves towards charitable status).
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of EEUK at a pivotal moment in its development. As we look to strengthen our impact and governance—including our plans to become a registered charity—we are seeking individuals who are passionate about enterprise and entrepreneurship education and committed to supporting our community.
We are particularly keen to receive nominations that reflect the diversity and breadth of our membership. While specific experience can be valuable, enthusiasm, commitment, and a willingness to contribute are just as important. We warmly encourage nominations from individuals who may not have previously considered a board role.
That said, there are some areas where we would particularly welcome additional expertise on the Board. These include:
- Finance
- Marketing and communications
- Policy and influencing, particularly experience of working with government
Board members play a vital role in shaping EEUK’s strategy and overseeing its development, working collaboratively to support the organisation’s mission and ensure it operates effectively and sustainably. The role requires commitment and active engagement, including participation in Board meetings and contributing to specific areas of work. Board members will be elected for a period of 3 years.
Nominations will be followed by an election process, with all nominations required by 30th April 2026.
If you are interested in standing, or would like to nominate a colleague, we encourage you to review the full information pack and complete the nomination form below.
Nominees will require the support of two EEUK Associate Members from organisations other than their own. These supporters (Proposer and Seconder) will not be published and do not need to be ‘well known’ to the community. A letter of support from a line manager will also be required.
