Help strengthen the voice of enterprise education in public policy
Policy decisions across education, skills, innovation and enterprise have a direct impact on educators, institutions and the communities they serve. Enterprise Educators UK is looking for a thoughtful, proactive and credible Policy Adviser to help us understand those developments, contribute evidence to the debate and ensure the experience of our members informs policy discussions.
As EEUK’s Policy Adviser, you will monitor and interpret relevant policy developments in the UK and internationally, turning complex information into clear and useful insight for our members, colleagues and senior stakeholders.
You will also help develop EEUK’s public policy voice. Working with EEUK Fellows, members and external specialists, you will identify opportunities for research and publications, bring contributors together and produce authoritative reports, briefings and position papers. You will represent EEUK at relevant events, roundtables, consultations and sector networks, helping us build constructive relationships and increase our influence.
This is an opportunity to shape a developing area of EEUK’s work. We are looking for someone who combines strong research and writing skills with curiosity, sound judgement and the confidence to initiate ideas and move them forward.
The role is equivalent to approximately 0.4 FTE, with working hours and patterns agreed flexibly. It will primarily be undertaken remotely.
Remuneration will be £13,000-£14,000, depending on the agreed scope, time commitment and FTE equivalence. This is equivalent to a full-time salary of approximately £32,000–£35,000.
