Aston University: £50,000 to inspire student entrepreneurship

Aston University has been awarded a grant of £50,000 by the Santander Universities Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Fund to enhance its enterprise and entrepreneurship offering. The university will use the money to partner with Edvent, an education Start-up, to inspire potential entrepreneurs to delve into the world of entrepreneurship through a practical challenge-based event, encouraging students to engage with real issues facing young people in the region. They will also run Apollo, a six-week mini accelerator which will enable students to validate their ideas and to provide a platform to upskill the next generation workforce with skills and confidence to enter an ever-changing workplace.
