Join the Sustainable Society SIG for its kick-off meeting for the academic year and to share and plan directions for 2026-27!
The meeting will include some provocations and reflective questions set by Professor Emeritus David Rae from Leicester Castle Business School, De Montfort University. David argued some time ago that the financial crisis of 2008 produced a new economic era with significant implications for entrepreneurship education and learning.
He said ‘Old’ entrepreneurship and education focused on liberal market economics and short-term profit needed to evolve towards the wider needs of societies, including social and environmental sustainability. David will make some comments and pose some questions about progress and the state of play to provoke and encourage the SIG for the year ahead.
Projects and work being developed under the SIG will be shared. Come along to listen, learn, join and organise!
