With over 50 responses to our recent member survey on metrics / Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) our submission to HEFCE is in.
Overall, members welcomed KEF as part of the key institutional metrics (REF and TEF) and a clear way to signal to senior management for the need for consistent support and the longer-term planning horizons that are needed to build an effective entrepreneurial eco-system and culture.
Given that income will become associated with KEF, members called for the creation of credible and verifiable metrics that recognise entrepreneurship support and outcomes, and that are submitted following clear and robust national guidance. Such clarity will ensure KEF becomes nationally recognised across education and business to provide EEUK members with a new way of further engaging externals and stakeholders in this agenda.
Thank you to our members for helping us to shape a response to this important consultation.
