King’s Bright Sparks: 100 entrepreneurial answers to some of the world’s most pressing challenges

King’s College London’s Entrepreneurship Institute are celebrating a significant milestone of 100 innovative ventures in the King’s20 Accelerator. To mark the occasion, they have launched the King’s20 Digital Directory, which allows you to browse all 100 ventures, as well as the accompanying campaign, Bright Sparks: 100 entrepreneurial answers to some of the world’s most pressing challenges which illustrates the vibrancy, dynamism and diversity of the King’s20 ventures. Since 2016, the King’s20 ventures have achieved incredible outcomes and have had a significant impact on today’s society, having collectively: Raised over £17m in investment; Generated over £20m in revenue; Employed over 400 people; Raised over £2m in grants.

The King’s community is set to continue paving the way in solving the world’s next 100 problems, and we’re committed to forging the space for a broader diversity of voices, changing the face of entrepreneurship as we know it today.

 

Oxford Brookes: Call for Proposals

A final call from Oxford Brookes University to submit a proposal for their annual Evolve conference, which this year opens its virtual doors to institutions and colleagues from all over the world. The ethos behind this year’s conference is diversity and inclusion in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Education. They invite proposals for posters, pecha kuchas, shorter sessions of 20 minutes and longer sessions of 40 minutes. The call closes 29 November, please make your submission here.
