Cardiff: LEGO® Serious Play® methodology.
Cardiff University is revolutionising student engagement through LEGO® Serious Play® methodology. Recently, we collaborated with our Career Confident team, who specialise in widening participation, to deliver an innovative networking skills workshop for under-represented students. Using LEGO ducks as conversation props, we transformed traditionally stiff networking interactions into playful, meaningful exchanges. This creative approach helped reduce nerves and build confidence, with students rating it as their favourite workshop element. The success demonstrates how reimagining traditional teaching methods can create more inclusive and engaging learning experiences for all.
