LSE Generate is the London School of Economics’ home for entrepreneurship and innovation, open to students, staff, alumni and the wider community. Our mission is to empower people to turn ideas into impactful ventures by combining rigorous academic thinking with practical entrepreneurial experience.
We deliver a portfolio of inclusive programmes that support learners at every stage of their entrepreneurial journey, from early‑stage ideation to venture creation and growth. This includes cohort‑based accelerators, skills‑focused workshops, mentoring, schools outreach and international chapter activity. Our work spans disciplines and backgrounds, reflecting LSE’s commitment to social science‑led innovation, responsible leadership and real‑world impact.
Enterprise education sits at the heart of LSE Generate’s approach. We focus on developing entrepreneurial mindsets and transferable skills such as problem‑solving, critical thinking, resilience and collaboration, alongside practical tools for venture building. Learning is experiential, reflective and grounded in real challenges, with participants encouraged to test ideas, learn from failure and engage with diverse perspectives.
We place strong emphasis on access, equity and social impact, working with partners across education, industry and the third sector to widen participation in entrepreneurship. Through our Schools Programme and international network, we extend enterprise education beyond campus, supporting young people and global communities to develop entrepreneurial capability.
As part of the LSE ecosystem, LSE Generate contributes to research‑informed practice and cross‑institutional collaboration, and we value opportunities to learn from and share best practice with the Enterprise Educators community.
