University of Bradford

Building on the University of Bradford’s long history of research and innovation, the institution is now striving to establish itself as the UK’s premier destination for aspiring entrepreneurs. At the heart of this initiative is the Bradford-Renduchintala Enterprise Ecosystem (BREE), which aims to provide essential financial resources and invaluable mentoring support from established business leaders. This initiative is specifically designed to assist young entrepreneurs as they embark on their business journeys.

BREE has been made possible through the generous support of a £1.25 million donation from alumnus Dr. Murthy Renduchintala, complemented by an additional £1.25 million investment from the university itself. The program is inclusive, opening its doors to students, staff, and community members. Throughout the programme, participants have the  opportunity to pitch their innovative business ideas and bid for grants that can help turn their visions into reality.

By nurturing the ambitions of budding entrepreneurs, BREE plays a crucial role in fostering successful business development, thereby unlocking the potential and driving the growth of Bradford as a diverse and entrepreneurial city. This initiative represents a significant step forward in cultivating a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem that can inspire and empower the next generation of business leaders.
