The Essex Startups Team deliver enterprise and entrepreneurship training to students and graduates through practice-led workshops, events, and programmes.
We have tiered approaches for individuals to work with us depending on their current stage of progress and work to ensure even those who aren’t interested in starting a business can participate and walk away feeling like they’ve learned something new and practical.
Our offer spans from introductory one-off sessions to six-week programmes, a mini accelerator programme all the way through to full angel investment support. From seedling to seed investment, we’ve created a programme of support to help flourishing entrepreneurs start, grow, and scale their ideas.
We are doing an increasingly higher amount of co-curricular work as schools and departments look to incorporate enterprise education into their curricular offer that better prepares students for the world of work that they will enter.
Our aim is to give every student the opportunity to explore their maximum intra/entrepreneurial potential while they study at Essex.
