University of Surrey

The University of Surrey’s Student Enterprise Programme offers practical business support to entrepreneurial students from all disciplines who aspire to run their own business or social enterprise. Students can explore and develop their enterprise skills through our ongoing programme, gain experience by putting these skills into practice, and ultimately establish a business on campus in our Enterprise Hub and Student Incubator.

Students are encouraged to engage with the Surrey Incubator, based on the Surrey Research Park, via recently introduced ‘student hot desks’. The hot desks provide student businesses with the opportunity to integrate and work with other start-ups, and benefit from the support and expertise of the incubation staff and members, bridging the gap between University and the business environment.

Surrey Business School cultivates a dynamic learning environment and enables collaborative ways of working to motivate students and create change, through skills gained with hands-on learning, critical thinking and entrepreneurialism.
