University of Wolverhampton

The Enterprise Department champions practical enterprise for the University of Wolverhampton.

We are an independent department, working with the Careers, Workplace, Placements and Volunteering teams to help both students and graduates who have the vision and determination to turn their ideas into products and businesses.  We can now also assist nascent entrepreneurs in the Black Country, Shropshire and Herefordshire to start up their own businesses as well as provide business assistance to local SMEs to promote growth and economic prosperity to the region.

How do we do this?

Our part-funded ERDF Enterprise Action project (encompassing the renowned SPEED project) allows us to now support all local entrepreneurs and existing SMEs as well as our students, graduates and staff.

Through providing development, consultancy and co-working facilities in our much sought-after SP/ACE for Enterprise Centre for Entrepreneurship based at our Science Park in Wolverhampton.

Working with Santander UK to offer business idea competitions, breakfast networking events, business plan prizes and additional incubation services.
